About us
The GAECEQS is made up of several professors from the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, from the schools of Vilanova i la Geltrú, Barcelona and Terrassa.
The group works towards creating and transferring knowledge in its fields of expertise to help achieve the energy transition, improved manufacturing processes and medical diagnostics.
Committed to research and knowledge generation, as well as to the training of new engineers and the development of their skills.
We bring added value to the UPC, and we participate in the promotion and organisation of activities in the field of training, as well as being present in the different collegiate and unipersonal governing bodies of the schools and departments to which we belong.
